As I am only returning to Singapore two weeks before my wedding, it will be too late to rent my wedding dress from Singapore. Initially I asked my Korean bridal shop if they allow overseas rental and they quoted an extra $3000 charge for overseas rental 😱
So here starts my dress hunting journey!
This is not sponsored. I am lucky to find a shop which allows overseas rental with no major restrictions. Other shops had restrictions such as not allowing me to select new designs as they’re afraid that I’ll ruin the dress, or hefty extra fees.
Price range: 300k to 800k Korean won
Standard rental duration: 3 days 2 nights
Additional fee to extend rental duration: 30k Korean won per day
Overseas rental restrictions: Dresses with long train. Which makes sense.. as such dresses will be really heavy and it’s impossible to hand carry on the plane.
Free inclusion: Short veil, inner underskirt, hair accessory, pearl earring
These two were my top choices but they are not available on the dates that I need.

Although it is a shame that I can’t have a long dress train, I am really happy that I found something that is simple and nice. My Singapore wedding will be a small one so I guess a simple dress is fine. I’ll wear a grand dress for Korea’s wedding instead 😆
